3. All Fishouflage™ patterns and products are proprietary to Outdoor Identities. Outdoor Identities owns all intellectual property rights in and to Fishouflage™ patterns and products in the United States and throughout the rest of the world. Fishouflage™ patterns and products will shortly be covered by U.S. Utility and Design Patents. Patent applications are currently pending.
Outdoor Identities works hard to develop its products, and protect proprietary technology, inventions and designs with patents and other legal protections. Under U.S. patent law, when a patent issues, the owner of the patent can obtain a reasonable royalty from any person who, makes, uses, offers for sale, or sells the invention in the United States as claimed in a published patent application and had actual notice of the published patent application during the period beginning on the date of publication of the application.
Although each foreign country has its own patent laws, many country’s patent laws provide that the owner of a patent can obtain reasonable compensation from any person who makes, uses, offers for sale or sells the invention in that country as claimed in the published patent application and had actual notice of the published patent application during the period beginning on the date of publication of the application.
